Hi all,

I have seen these photographs before and it is a stunning set. The bird in question is probably a Rufous Hornero, (please note capitalisation which is correct spelling!!) Furnarius rufus, a bird found in northern Argentina, Uruguay and southern Brazil.

No, I am not that good at identifying South American birds, I checked this out with Leo Joseph, Director of the ANWC who has considerable experience with birds in that part of the world, several months ago.

Cheers,

Mark
