Perhaps it is the avian equivalent of tweeting?

Subject: [canberrabirds] Rose Robin slow wing flaps
Yesterday in Canberra I observed a pair of Rose Robins in the canopy of a eucalypt. They were doing a slow wing flap display to each other. ie each was sticking out its wings and slowing moving them up and down whilst fully extended. They were doing this at each other, but not in a coordinated way (first one then the other).
What does this mean?
