Encouraged by yesterday's bird walk and the
pleasant early afternoon sun I went in search of Owlet Nightjar. Within half an
hour I spied one in the back of a tree hollow approximately 10 minutes walk
from our house. As I watched the beautiful creature came to the front of the
hollow giving me a grand view. I have often looked at that hollow but not seen
an Owlet Nightjar there before.
