This morning, around noon, a bat was flying around the drain that runs east-west along Haig Park. It disappeared up a drain pipe, presumably to roost. Also, three Noisy Miners behaving in a proprietorial fashion in the vicinity of the Tree House child care centre - a place where I have never seen them before.
