A warm sunny morning with only a slight breeze.  Young gum trees are brown with lurps. Small birds are quietly feasting.

 

Mixed flocks consisted of:

. Yellow-rumped Thornbills (plenty)

. Buff-rumped Thornbills

. Brown Thornbills

. Striated Thornbills

. 1 White-browed Scrubwren

. Speckled Warblers – saw about six of these in separate areas

. Red-browed Firetail

. 4 Double-barred Finch

. Silvereye

. 1 White-eared Honeyeater

. Weebill

. Grey Fantail – not a large number

. Superb Wrens everywhere

. 2 Scarlet Robin

 

Other most interesting were:

. 5 Brown Quail – standing looking at me in bright sunshine - gorgeous

. 2 Gang Gangs

. 2 Wedge-tailed Eagles

. 2 Australian Kestrel

. 1 Black-shouldered Kite

. 2 Grey Shrike-thrush – following me

. 2 Laughing Kookaburra

. 3 Welcome Swallows

. Galahs

. Sulphur Crested Cockatoos

. Magpie Lark

. Magpies

. 1 Starling

. 6 Little Raven

. Currawong

. Eastern Rosella

. Crimson Rosella

. 2 Common Myna

. 1 Australian Raven

. Crested Pigeons

 

No Black-faced Cuckoo Shrikes
