Years ago (let's say late 1990s) White-fronted Chats (or only a small group) were a regular at the boat ramp site at Googong.

Out at Googong Dam Foreshore this morning- a single Whte-fronted Chat seen at the reservoir edge at the end boat ramp (closed) on Drumstick Point.

A beautiful morning (W-tailed Eagles, Red-browed Finches etc) but a huge shock to see the whole landscape between Cooma Rd and the dam south of the Googong Dam Rd marked out with surveyors marks, and trench laying well underway for powerlines for the new Googong suburb. The suburb will extend right up to the doorstep of the Googong Rangers offices.
