At our place in Jesen Street, Hughes, we've been having small parties of YFHEs passing through for a few weeks now. Not enough to post about them each day, but a few groups of 10-20 each day. These are greater numbers passing over than we have had since we have been here (17 years).
They are heading approximately west to east and if you extrapolate their route before and after passing over Hughes they are coming down from the mountains near Cotter Crossing, flying across country until they pass north of Weston, over Curtin and on towards Red Hill. They would either fly around the north of Red Hill, or through the gap south of the car park and restaurant.
