Got a good look at a white-eared honeyeater at our place in Fraser about 1100 
this morning. Presumably an altitudinal migrant coming down from the mountains 
(see Birds of Canberra Gardens, 2nd ed) and this is the first sighting. It 
caused a bit of a stir amongst our resident common bronze wing pigeons.
