I found a dead bat in our yard this morning, I think it's a Large Forest Bat (still not very big) and, apart from being dead, in quite good condition. Would CSIRO like it? I've got it in the freezer.

 

Also had a report of very young King Parrots within a couple of streets of here in Hughes, when it stops raining I will go and investigate. Too much to hope for the holy grail of Canberra birding, a breeding record, but maybe dys.
