I spent 2 hours today on the walking track from Kambah Pool. The species is
pretty much always common around Canberra but there were especially abundant
there today all along the track. Then I sat for about 20 minutes in one spot
and I think I had about 20 of these birds all simultaneously visible in the
surrounding trees within about 10 metres. Though it would have been
unrealistic to count them, as they flit about so much.

Subject: Grey Fantails return
Howdy All,
The Grey Fantails have returned to my garden (well, one of them
anyway). Almost exactly one month earlier than last year. Having a
lovely time at present bathing in a bird bath with a mixed flock of
little brown birds. <grin>
Cheers.
