Just after reading Lindsay's message I noticed a group of 6 Yellow-faced Honeyeaters depart from one of our many flowering stringybarks and heading, with many migratory sounding 'chips', in the general direction of Hoskinstown as they usually do from here when migrating.

Looking at my past records this seems about normal timing for here.

While sitting outside enjoying lunch today a flock of 55 YFHE flew over followed shortly after by flocks of 45 and 20 all following the line of the Tralee Trail.  Seems as though they are on the move early this year.
