Since there's currently no access to the Sandwash because the
approaches to the bridge on Smiths Rd have been washed away (and
bridge damaged as well apparently), the venue for the outing on the
morning of 24 March is now Callum Brae Nature Reserve. Meet at the
gate to the reserve on Narrabundah Lane at 8.30am, for 2-3 hour wander
through the reserve, mostly on mown tracks. Callum Brae is good for
parrots, bush birds and some resident raptors. No need to book.
