In case anyone is wondering - the area beyond the horse-gate at Campbell Park is open to the public again. There are warning notices up to say to keep away from suspicious items, but there is no restriction on access. I had a quick wander through there on Saturday morning before the rain. Everything is looking good with the dams all full, creek-lines running and frogs a-croaking. The most noticeable birds were loads of wood duck in trees and on the farm dam. Other interesting sightings were some speckled warblers and double-barred finches.
