In my part of Narrabundah I’ve not seen or heard Spotted Doves in my 16 years here, and they are a bird I’d have noticed and recognised even BB (Before Birds in my life).  Now one or two have been calling for the last three days both in our complex and on adjacent Vikings Golf Course.  I am very fond of their calls so glad they’ve appeared! 

 

Don’t waste effort in flaming me for this, I know, I know…
