I received a request for information about Noisy Miners, as this species is causing some concern. I have put a summary of what I have dug out of the GBS database at http://franmart.blogspot.com.au/2012/02/noisy-miners-in-cog-garden-bird-survey.html.
It seems clear that the species is increasing in GBS sites (both in frequency and abundance) and possibly that the larger flocks forming in Autumn are being more commonly reported.
