Also lots of the them in Deakin and Red Hill NR. They are probably my
favourite bird at the moment - the way they shrug when settling down

Probably a bird I should have seen a lot of, but it was a first for 
me.  When I was at the National Zoo & Aquarium today I was watching a 
Black Faced Cuckoo Shrike.  I have a vague feeling I might have seen 
one before, but it certainly isn't something I usually see 
about.  Unfortunately I get little chance to travel and look for 
things, but I thought I would mention it in case it were of interest 
to anyone?  I've never observed one there in previous visits.  It was 
a lot bigger than I expected!!

Just in case anyone is interested, it was right near the entrance in 
a tree above the Marmosets.  A nice addition to the things I viewed 
at the zoo, including the adorable baby Ring tailed Lemurs that have 
only recently been on public display.
