Over the years many members of COG have travelled with Mark and Jean to various parts of southern Africa, Asia and NZ and have had a very enjoyable time. I was also on a trip early last year with Martin and Sam Willis and they are a great couple. This could the opportunity to see a bit of southern Africa – the Drakensberg Mountains are fabulous as is Kruger – so if you are interested please contact Mark and Jean direct. I have no financial interest or otherwise but thought I would pass the message on.

Greetings all
We are running a private cost share trip to South Africa for 4 Australians (Martin & Sam Willis +2 friends) and need 2 more besides ourselves to keep costs down – total of 8 pax. Dates are 24 August to 12 Sept this year. We will visit Cape Town in the flower season, plus Drakensberg Mountains, east coast and finish with a full week in Kruger. We expect the trip to cost about AU$250 per day with some optional side trips and a few restaurant meals as extras. The present group are wildlife and photographic enthusiasts so birds will be included, but this is not an exclusively birding trip. If you know of anyone who might like to join our group, please ask them to email us and we will let them have the itinerary.
