Hi all

haven't been able to do much birdwatching lately, so today, when the family decided to do some mountain biking at Stromlo Forest Park, I took binoculars (and dog) instead of bike and headed off, off the paths.

just south-east of the main road circuit I came across 7-12 White-fronted Chats.

Then, watching my son trying some jumps just to the south of the car park, I flushed out about 6-7 Stubble Quail and an Australian Pipit. One of the quails kept still and I was able to take a few photos. The pipit kept running, so the photos are not that good.

All in all quite happy for one hour and dog in tow.

Cheers, Susanne
