Hi Christine, I will come and collect it tomorrow afternoon if that is OK. It will go to the Australian National Wildlife Collection at CSIRO Ecosystem Sciences (the old Wildlife Division). A reminder to all that dead birds (or even small mammals etc) are always welcome as additions to the collection. I am usually able to pick things up but if not can arrange for specimens to be collected. Cheers, Mark -----Original Message----- From: Christine Ledger Sent: Sunday, 22 January 2012 6:41 PM To: Canberra Birds Subject: Useful specimen? I found a dead young crimson rosella in our yard this morning, in good condition. It's now in our freezer. Is it useful to anyone or should I simply dispose of it?
