At the AIS today Superb Parrots were feeding on (1) lerps, (2) eucalyptus blossom, (3) acacia seeds and (4) grass seeds. I must say it was a pleasure this morning to visit Belconnen to observe Superb Parrots without receiving the attention of the police, which, the longer-term chatliner will recall, was my experience on another occasion. However, a parallel is that on both occasions there were about equal numbers of adults and begging juveniles (parrots, that is, not police).
