On Friday we stopped and watched a flock of about 20 Superb Parrots feeding in a couple of small trees next to the bikepath between Redfern and Catchpole Streets in Macquarie. There were several young in the group being fed by their parents.

Certainly there have been lots of superbs around Jamison and the adjoining area of Cook over the last few days - mainly family groups with begging young.  I have been waking up to their calls every day for the last week.

More seen flying over yesterday and today.  Today a group of 9 then a group of about 20-25.  Does anyone know where they are feeding as I can’t seem to locate them?  Maybe they go much further out.
