Hi Lindell

 

Yes, Rufous Songlarks. Black bill on the bird in the top photo indicates a breeding male. Other photo shows a paler bill, could be a female or possibly a young bird. Females are considerably smaller than males.

Are these Rufous Songlarks? If not - what might they be please?

They were close to the intersection of Smith's and Naas Road past Tharwa today.
