15:45 hours today from our front porch in Holt we glimpsed about 12 White-throated Needletails flashing across a patch of blue in a plumbeous sky, some distance to the sou’ sou’ east. At the time it was overcast and sultry at home but no thunder or rain, However the BOMA storm-warning map showed a swatch of potential thunderstorm activity stretching from Taree to Eden.
