Sun 27 Nov Freckled Duck, Yellow-billed Spoonbill Kelly's Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetland, Fyshwick
Single Freckled Duck remains. Also an extraordinary afternoon/evening for heron species on Kellys Swamp with 1 White-necked Heron, 1 Great Egret, 3 Intermediate Egret, 9 Cattle Egret at least 13 Nankeen Night-Heron (Adults and juveniles). The cacophony of frog calls was probably the reason for this congregation.The spectacle concluded with a fly past by 5 Yellow-billed Spoonbills.

On a mud-less Pond 5, 2 Red-kneed Dotterel and on Pond 7 one each of Australian Spotted Crake and Baillon's Crake.

1 Freckled Duck on the swamp as were 2 Red-kneed Dotterel A minimum of 30 Cattle Egret on the northern paddocks.

At 12:15 today an Intermediate Egret was standing on a patch of water lilies in the pond at the Coranderrk Street/Parkes Way Intersection.

A flock of 37 Cattle Egrets were seen over the cattle paddocks at lunchtime today.

Black Falcon Kelly's Swamp/Fyshwick STW
At 14:03, a male Black Falcon flew in from Kingston Paddocks well above tree top height and circled firstly over Kelly's Swamp and then over the Fyshwick STW.

One Royal Spoonbill on Kellys Swamp. Two Red-kneed Dotterels and five Latham's Snipe on mudflats opposite Fullica hide.

A pair of White-winged Trillers (male&female) feeding in one of the larger eucalypts in the reserve

Red-capped Robin Mulligans Flat, ACT
Single Red-capped Robin (female) seen briefly in woodland amongst mixed flock of thornbills and other small birds. (Location: COG Grid LII, or approx: Lat 35°10'14.91"S, and Long 149° 9'17.63"E - from Google Earth). Flock observed for about a minute before they moved on.

Azure Kingfisher Kellys Swamp
Azure KF seen at 4pm today on the island to the left of Fulica hide - sitting very quietly for 20 minutes just above a small patch of water lilies.

Sun 20 Nov Peregrine Falcon Paddock south of Aranda Bushland
A pair at a large stick nest in tall gum. They both chased off cockies so there may be chicks.
