At Calum Brae, lots of dusky wood swallows. They were flying around so much it
was difficult to count them 30 --40 I would say. At least 3 pairs were
nesting. They did not care for the resident kestrels who are busy feeding 5
chicks. They persistently dived the kestrel, perhaps even making contact.
Maybe the kestrel thinks that a wood swallow would make a good meal.
