First, an acknowledgment to Ian Fraser, who, as I recall, created the famous Cocoparra Dreaming cocktail, the ingredients of which might have been forgotten, although the name lives on.  Last week I made my annual visit to this reasonably close slice of representative western NSW  -  before the weather becomes too hot, as it surely will.  An early call after arrival at Woolshed Flat was to that waterhole well known to successive bands of COG expeditioners, to see the succession of arrivals at the water’s edge.  Perhaps 20 species (marsupials included) in a couple of hours.  This time the noisiest arrivals were the goats, more numerous and brazen than I remember on earlier occasions.  Capricornia Dreaming would be more like it.
