I wonder whether it was worth it. But of course it was. . I did Brisbane- Botanic- mangrove walk and the first bird I saw was a hovering Brahminy kite. Other Terns I never got a good view of. -Did the JC Slaughter Falls walk at Mt Coot-tha (ie a mountain view)- view was great, but it wasnt that good, with no water, but hey who am I complaining. I saw a drongo displaying and bush turkeys digging -For Field Naturalists the Mt Coot-tha Botanic gardens are very similar to ACT, except they also have half foreign- which is interesting with Madagascar, etc. btw the ibis was breeding in the local Botanic gardens.
