I have been routinely checking the Owlet Nightjar roost/nest each time I
visit Campbell Park - mostly there is nothing to see, but yesterday I had
a closer look at a nearby rabbit burrow and the crackling as I walked
over dried leaves and bark around seems to have provoked the curiosity of
the ON. As you can see, it climbed well out of the hollow to get a good
look at what I was up to ... or maybe it just decided it was time to get
a bit of sunshine?
