Black-shouldered Kites I have seen in the area were also patterned in this
way. On face value I am guessing that would be recent. I suggest it
would be likely that these are the same two individual birds. If so, it is
likely one local breeding event. It would need a wider distribution of
occurrences to get interesting results of the proportions etc of that
kind.
