I popped down to Kelly Rd (north end) this evening for a change.  Countless (not quite swarms) of chipping honeyeaters flying north.  Up to a dozen dusky woodswallows.  6-10 red rumped parrots.  Willie wagtail, brown treecreeper, white plumed honeyeater, superb fairy wrens.  In  a culvert under the old railway is a good collection of what looks like fairy martin nests, I need to view them from the other side to see if they appear to be in use.  A raptor (goshawk/falcon) could be heard in the distance.
