Thank you to everyone who took interest in the night song. Geoff and I dragged ourselves out of bed at 3 am to have a better listen and decided it is an insomniac magpie in our garden. He/she kept it up until at least 5 am non-stop. (Yes, I turned insomniac too. At least it is more like a lullaby than a car alarm.)

I recorded it on the iPod and the file is attached. Ear phones and volume up loud help.
