Hi,

I was notified this afternoon that there will be a control burn on Mount Rogers starting tomorrow.

This is not good timing given it would appear that the Superb Parrots are starting to return.

Apparently the aim was to control burn the area last autumn but plans got delayed etc. The area will be monitored by the Bush Fire Service for Superb Parrots before, during and after the burn and the results passed on to COG.
