This morning (Monday) I was  having my morning coffee when a  racket of magpies, currawongs and ravens attracted my attention. After reading the reports on the chat line of owls being accompanied by these birds I rushed out side to find just that. A barn owl being harassed by this nosy mob.  At one stage the owl was clinging to a fly screen on the window of a unit in the block adjacent to ours.    But as fast as they had arrived they all disappeared and peace was restored.

I live in Greenway on the edge of Lake Tuggeranong so I’m happy to report that the south side has owls too.
