Thanks Sandra I remember Alison well from the ANBG guides. A lovely person who was always encouraging to novice guides such as I was. She provided the notes for the popular leaflet "In flower this week in the Gardens" for many years. Cheers Denis Wilson On Mon, Aug 8, 2011 at 12:54 PM, Canberra Ornithologists Group Inc. <> wrote:
Advising those who knew her that Alison passed away late last week, after a stroke earlier this year. She was a member of COG from 1989 to 2009, and her knowledge of native plants and willingness to share her expertise was legendary. She will be missed by many COG members, as well as those who knew her through her involvement with ANBG and various tour groups. -- Denis Wilson "The Nature of Robertson" www.peonyden.blogspot.com |
