This afternoon, during the last hour of daylight, Noela and I took a
walk along the Old Sydney Road in this delightful Nature Reserve near
the Kings Highway/Captains Flat Road junction. There were not many birds
around but a particular highlight was a pair of – or more accurately two
– Spotted Quail-thrushes. Perhaps this Reserve might be considered the
hotspot for this species in COG's AOC?
