This morning a pair of Peregrines were hunting in Kingston, with prey being brought back to the top of 9 Jardine St, the high rise across the road.  Starling was the only one I was able to identify in two kills.  On one occasion the female flew right by my balcony, within a metre or two, the bright yellow cere standing out.  Great to watch.  Interestingly, there have been no Sulphur-crested Cockatoo or Ravens on No 9 up to dark.  It’s normally a playground for  them and others.
