Today in Eddison Park at lunchtime I was sitting listening to my iPod
on a bench when a juvenile Mapgie approached, hopped up to the back of
the bench, perching about a foot from me and began singing. I don't
know whether it was going to perch there and sing anyway or whether it
could hear the music in my earphones and was trying to compete with
it.

For the record the music was Havergal Brian, Gothic Symphony, first movement.

:-)
