For those who have expressed an interest in this matter, this email is to confirm that the remaining trees on the island have now been cleared by contractors, and the ibis and cormorants have lost their nesting sites.  I understand that the debris is due to be burnt soon by the fire brigade. 
 
Seems such a shame.
