One of the electronic entries for last year’s bird
blitz is recorded as being from Steve Holliday (COG code HoS1) on 30 October
2010, from 7.00 at Wanniassa Hills. Species recorded were Weebill, Magpie-lark,
Galah, Laughing Kookaburra, Superb Fairy-wren, Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike, Grey
Butcherbird, Grey Fantail, Australian Raven, Pied Currawong and Red Wattlebird.
Now Steve did not participate in the blitz last year. Sandra Henderson (COG
code HeS1) did, and surveyed Wanniassa Hills, but at a different time and
besides, submitted the record in hard copy. If you conducted this survey,
please let me know urgently so I can get the record and the blitz report corrected.
