Dear COG members,

I have no picture nor a description of appearance as I have not been able to spot the bird.  It has a most distinctive song and calls early morning and on dusk.  I listened to the sound of the Bassian Thrush, and it sounds like that, only a lot more song.  As our property is an old sheep paddock, it most definitely won't be a BT, but it's the closest I can find on Birds in Backyards sound files.  I have heard it earlier in Autumn, but only briefly - a couple of days.  It has now been calling for at least a week.  Any ideas?

Many thanks,
Jude Hopwood.
