With the wind easing off today, I took the opportunity for a lunchtime
walk out at Kama. I parked in the area on the SW side (ie: LHS going
towards Higgins) and fought my way through the thick grass to get to the
start of the track ... a little track from the parking area wouldn't go
astray. The reserve was pretty quiet - I think I was the only one there and not a lot of bird life except for Superb Fairy Wrens. However, it was a pleasant stroll - open grasslands after leaving the lightly wooded area to descend down to the river. I had hoped to find a flame robin - no such luck, but I did get a few pictures to add to the collection ... |
