Yesterday I incidentally saw 40 bird species as part of a day's social outing to Bungendore and a morning exercise walk in Hoskinstown.
The most interesting sightings to me were
a group of Gang-gangs
a Wedge-tail Eagle being seen off by 2 A. Ravens
a group of 50 Little Ravens
a Mistletoebird
YTBCs calling
and a Horey-headed Grebe ( a bird I have not seen very much in the last 18 months)
Cheers Julienne
