I thought it was good to see that we have been recognised in the 'World
Environment Day Special Supplement' of today's Canberra Times
(page 8) as the original driver for the Allocasuarina verticillata
plantings that are now occurring in Canberra Nature Park. I don't know
the exact details of the funding that was given but I'm sure the good
work that Jenny Bounds did in getting the Glossy Black-Cockatoo
declared vulnerable in the ACT helped.
