the Red-capped Robins at Mulligan's Flat are often very hard to find,
especially when they are breeding. Our data indicates that the birds
are present throughout the year but one would not like to make a bet
upon actually seeing one. We have followed their calls over large
distances (relative to the scale of the reserve) and failed to see
them on more occasions than I care to remember!
