Hi all
This is a second call for observers for the 2nd Gang-Gang Census, to
be held from 11-12 on Sunday 5 June.
I have had a number of people respond to my first call for observers,
but unfortunately a number of people who helped last year are going to
be away on 5 June and I need probably as many people as have already
volunteered again to make the Census work.
Please put up your hand if you have time at that time on 5 June. If
you are unfamiliar with Central Canberra I can suggest an area for you
to investigate and even which areas within that area might be
fruitful.
I'm hoping to get enough observers to make last year's Census and this
the beginning of a long-lasting series of censuses that can can
provide valuable information, like the Garden Bird Survey and the the
Woodland Birds Survey, and indicate trends in GG numbers in Central
Canberra.
