I have just checked the webcam http://falcons.55water.com/news.php for the peregrine falcons of 55 Water St, Manhattan. They have 4 chicks all sitting in a heap right in front of the camera . Well worth a squizz; click on the sidebar for Live Birdcam in the linked page. I checked them out at 8am NSW time which equals 6pm NYC time, and means that the live banding webcast will occur at midnight our time. The attached image clipped from Google Earth shows the position of the building on which the nest box is located (on a set-back about 10m above a very busy road). Martin Attachment:
