Might be natural, might be derived from the aviary at Crace. That has a
whole lot of lorikeets of that and other species, including many
hybrids, some of which are hard to decide on what proportion of what
species is in their breeding. We have had SBL recorded in ACT before.

Scaly-breasted Lorikeets
Damien Farine and I spent the day out at Mulligan's Flat. Aside from
the usual species we saw Southern Whitefaces together with Diamond
Firetails and like Martin 23 Little Ravens.
The big surprise of the day was a mixed group of Lorikeets that included
4 SCALY-BREASTED LORIKEETS and at least 3 Little Lorikeets. They were
in the usual lorikeet area where the Black Honeyeaters were in 2006.
