We went this morning to the intersection of Tharwa Drive and Monaro H'way at
8.30am (new time). We saw several flocks of between 10 and 20 HEs fly over in
a 20 minute time slot, on their way to Lindsay Hansch's place I would say, ie
in and easterly direction. We have seen them flying in this spot in previous
years and have tried to plot back to where they have come from. We have also
tried to find flocks along to Burra Road. Not much success.W

We saw 1 flock fly over our place, Girffith, yesterday morning, in an easterly
direction

The birds that Ian saw, along the north of Narrabundah Hill. Where have they
come from? Are any birds flying along the Murrumbidgee this year? I think
that the leaders of those flocks, who remembered the way to go, perished in the
fires, in the Brindabellas and in Victoria
