At last! Got a koel in Holt.

Today 08:30 am koel perched in a cottonwood tree back o’ Kippax shops. Looking a bit juvenile, a bit lost. I upped the ante for a closer look but it chucked in its hand and vamoosed towards Macgregor. Next thing they’ll be overwintering in Canberra. Did I speak too soon?
