Hi

Enough is enough, STD should no longer used, it should be STI - Sexual Transmitted Infections, this is a better term.  Lets try to get this site back to what it was meant to be used for instead of this Daily Telegraph or Woman's Day format. This site originally was for reporting interesting sightings, sensible questions, places to go and general bird oriented interests. Lately its degenerated into spiteful little notes sent back and forth. Parables of precocious children being insolent and where a good slap along the back of the head would soon fix the problem. Proud owners of new cameras now send any photo showing their latest snap on the pretext of the need for identification where a simple look at any field guide would stop 90% of them being sent.  Good Photos are welcome and make a wonderful contribution and some really do need ID ing but please.  I'm just glad that our latest topic, that being the STD, didn't warrant any photos being sent but then again that's my view, and  I believe there are some others would disagree.
